ULTRALIX GROWER
Ultralix Grower, like Breeder will improve the intake rate of fibre / grass in your growing cattle which will allow them to improve their weight gain or minimize the loss in dry conditions. Grower is the same as Breeder but contains a lower phosphorus level. This because growing cattle only require about half the phosphorus that a breeder requires. Grower can be feed to breeders when you graze breeders on phosphorus rich soils.
We recommend to only feed molasses supplement to weaners over 120kg, weaners under 120kg are best fed a milk replacement meal base supplement which is needed to help fully develop their ruminant. Once they reach 120kg you can introduce them to UltraMeal or when grazing on good feed switch them over to Grower. It is ok for calves suckling on their mother to lick molasses supplements and this is a great training tool.
Grower 4 is the sweetest supplements in the range and contain the same protein level as M4U. Grower 8 is the sourest products in the range and contain the equivalent protein level as M8U. It is not recommended to start supplementing cattle on Grower 6 and 8 unless you are switching from another molasses supplement like M8U as it can create shy feeders starting cattle on very sour products.

Flavopospholipol can be included at 10 ppm but restricted when used with PCAS certified herd. Grower products are suitable for growing cattle or breeders on phosphorus sufficient land. In phosphorus deficient areas it is recommended to use the Breeder Range of supplements. UltraMeal contains protein meal and be made as custom mixes.
Ultralix Grower supplements are molasses based supplements delivering a balance of energy, protein, phosphorus and essential trace minerals. Ultralix supplements are designed to aid with the intake of roughage which may increase cattle weight gain, reduce weight loss when grazing dry forage, improve fertility and overall profitability. Molasses and urea supplement can increase fibre (grass) intake by up to 30%. For the best results cattle need free access to roughage and water. Reduced access to forage and water will reduce production performance. Ultralix supplements are rain safe and designed to be fed adlib in open troughs. Grower 4 is the sweetest product in the range with Grower 8 being the sourest.
Weaners should be fed 0.5 to 1kg/day
Steers and Heifers should be feed 0.5 to 1.2kg/day
Breeders should be fed 0.8 to 1.5kg/day
Supplementing rate will depend on the amount and quality of roughage available to your livestock to graze and your desired outcome. Generally, the more you supplement or the earlier you start in the season the better the results should be. It is recommended not to exceed 50hd per 500 lt trough or 75 heads per 750lt trough.
Ultralix supplements contain Urea and should only be fed at the recommended rate. Make sure all non-targeted animals like horse cannot get access to these supplements. Ultralix supplements should not be feed to starving stock or stock that have been deprived from water or roughage.
